From March, 2020 through June the Government the Government of Nova Scotia usually provides COVID-19 updates in live briefings. Most were delivered by Premier Stephen McNeil ( @StephenMcNeil ) and the Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang ( @StrangRobert ). Since July, 2020, briefings are held only several days a week when deemed needed. Briefings were live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook and by major news networks.
